About the Role
This Remote Senior Product Director position offers an immediate start for the right candidate. As a Senior Product Director, you will be responsible for building and executing against a product and technology roadmap to support and amplify our growth efforts. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and engineering teams to define, develop, and advance features and marketing automation capabilities that drive short and long-term product, audience, and subscriber growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Wondery's growth and marketing automation product strategy and own the capabilities roadmap
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including marketing, product, engineering, analytics, and more to define and deliver growth features and related product capabilities
- Evangelize new growth and marketing tech capabilities with stakeholders, providing training and support as needed
- Coordinate with vendors to stay up-to-date with current/upcoming features that may improve our marketing automation and growth efforts
- Stay current with industry trends and make recommendations for product enhancements and new features that will support our customer acquisition and retention efforts
- Work with engineering and analytics to guide the flow of data between marketing tech tools to ensure events/attributes match expected marketing objectives
- Work with marketing vendors to research and implement new marketing automation initiatives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology choices and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience driving roadmap methodology and definition
- Experience in a data-driven business environment; able to pivot quickly based on real-time data
- Demonstrated skills in all phases of the product lifecycle, including requirements gathering, user stories, wire-framing, user acceptance testing, bug triage
- Experience managing scrum teams
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in product management in a subscription-based digital media business, preferably at a media and entertainment company
- Strong product management skills, with a deep understanding of client needs and our tech stack
- Experience building technology-driven products, with a passion for delivering results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with experimentation and data analysis to drive business decisions
