Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival, directing them to the appropriate areas and ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Manage incoming phone calls, screening and forwarding them as necessary, and providing clear and accurate information to patients and callers.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring that all necessary materials and stationery are readily available.
- Provide basic and accurate information to patients in-person, via phone, and through email, addressing their queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Support the dental hygiene team and other staff members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Hygiene Coordinator in our office, you will need:
- At least one year of previous experience working in a dental office, with a strong understanding of dental practices and patient care.
- Experience utilizing a dental or healthcare practice management system, with EagleSoft experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to efficiently manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent phone etiquette, with a professional and friendly demeanor that makes patients feel at ease.
- An outgoing and positive attitude, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
