About the Role

As a Manager, IT Agile Enablement, you will play a critical role in managing the design and development activities for a group of IT professionals focused on delivering large, complex strategic initiatives across multiple development teams and with global impacts. You will lead strategic IT initiatives, provide updates to all levels of management, and collaborate with global business and IT teams to ensure initiative capabilities are delivered within scope and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT professionals focused on the delivery of large, complex strategic initiatives across multiple development teams and with global impacts.
• Lead strategic IT initiatives and provide updates to all levels of management.
• Analyze systems and applications, conduct feasibility studies, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Establish and track KPIs for Agile Release Trains.
• Collaborate across global business and IT teams to ensure initiative capabilities are delivered within scope and on schedule.
• Act as a thought leader in SAFe Best Practices and their implementation.
• Coordinate with Architecture teams to leverage business architecture blueprints to guide and inform all initiative success criteria.
• Champion the use of business architecture standards, tools, best practices, and development methodologies for strategic initiatives.
• Partner with industry analysts, software vendors, and internal stakeholders to support key initiative delivery.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including:

• Extensive experience in the development and management of large-scale global initiatives leveraging Scaled Agile Framework practices.
• Extensive project and program management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading the development of scalable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Business Architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with SAFe certifications and Release Train Engineer experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with:

• Executive presence and the ability to lead and influence at all levels.
• Scaled Agile Framework experience and certifications.
• Release Train Engineer experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, or a directly related quantitative degree or related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of systems development experience, including programming, is also required. Experience in the technical design and development of major data processing projects, IMS experience, and client/server technology is preferred.
