About the Role: Crafting Exceptional Digital Shopping Experiences
As a Senior UX Product Designer within our Guest Experience team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital shopping at Target. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that delight our guests. Your expertise in UX design, product strategy, and human-centered practices will be instrumental in driving our product experiences across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Driving UX Excellence
- Contribute to the development of UX strategy and vision for product experiences across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and guest needs.
- Participate in UX sprints for discovery, co-creation, future-visioning, and functional proof of concept delivery, collaborating with stakeholders to drive design decisions.
- Investigate new opportunities using qualitative and quantitative research methods, analyzing data to inform design direction and identify emerging trends.
- Create high-quality design deliverables, including journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UI design, and prototypes, to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders.
- Maintain a high standard of craft in design work, ensuring accessibility, user research, and usability are integral to the design process.
- Foster a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams, promoting collaboration and design excellence.

Essential Qualifications: The Skills We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 4+ years of relevant product design work experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UX design expertise.
- Intermediate skills in UX and product design, with the ability to structure and plan work, and own the design process.
- Proficiency in UX, product, and service design, as well as design strategy and service design methods.
- Experience with product design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma, to effectively design and test product experiences.
- Strong strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- The ability to effectively use data and insights to inform design direction, driving business outcomes and guest satisfaction.
