Position Summary:
EverDriven is seeking a detail-oriented and growth-minded Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in our Greenwood Village office. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on exposure across the full accounting cycle while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and strengthening internal controls. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure financial data integrity while helping the organization scale efficiently. This position offers strong development opportunities, meaningful ownership, and visibility within a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential
Location - Greenwood Village, CO. 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and other month-end adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
Enter, review, and validate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions to ensure completeness and compliance
Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger to maintain data integrity across systems
Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with internal partners to support timely collections
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, helping drive continuous improvement and efficiency
Assist with internal and external audit preparation, including documentation and support schedules
Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure financial information supports data-driven decision-making
What You Will Bring to EverDriven:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
Experience working with accounting or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (NetSuite, Sage, or similar platforms preferred)
Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with consistency
Clear and respectful communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of your work
