A nursing opportunity is available for experienced RNs with telemetry skills at a 54-bed cardiac telemetry unit specializing in cardiovascular care. This role focuses on providing night shift care in a fast-paced environment supporting patients with heart failure, heart attacks (STEMI and NSTEMI), strokes requiring cardiac monitoring, arrhythmias, and chest pain. Occasional overflow medical patients may be admitted.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage cardiac drips for complex cardiovascular patients
• Respond proactively to patient condition changes within a 1:5-7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Ensure continuous care coordination with the telemetry remote monitoring team
• Utilize Cerner Powerchart for accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Comfortable working night shifts (1900-0730), 3 shifts per week with every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Must be located 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time telemetry nurses are welcome
• Adaptability to fluctuating staffing and patient ratios during call-ins

This position is based in Three Rivers, MI, an area known for its welcoming community and scenic river views. Nurses relocating or traveling will find a comfortable setting with access to local amenities while supporting advanced cardiac care.
Contract Type & Schedule:
• Contract role with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (1900 to 0730)
• No call requirements; block scheduling requested but not guaranteed
• Holiday coverage: 2 out of 3 holidays
