About the Company and Role
Workwarp is partnering with Southwest Airlines to fill an immediate opening for a Senior Technology Consultant. The Senior Technology Consultant will be an integral part of the Ground Operations Planning Team, driving business process improvements and technology enhancements to create value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new ways to create value through business process improvements and technology enhancements proactively
- Interpret Client needs through a deep understanding of Client needs, value drivers, and challenges
- Drive solutions within a Team/group without being an informed authority
- Complete assigned and project tasks with minimal direction
- Collaborate with Senior Management across the Organization to lead various activities required in the ongoing development and delivery of strategic initiatives
- Analyze the impact of issues, work with goals, and escalate to Authority on a case-by-case basis
- Anticipate large-scale, complex challenges within the space; including risk, conditions, timelines, scope, etc.
- Identify complex issues and review related data to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- May perform other work-related tasks as directed by Employee's Chiefs
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Client and personal services, including Client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
- Ability to focus on what others are saying and take time to understand the points being made
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Proficiency in tools such as Oracle Primavera Project Task Portfolio Management, Atlassian JIRA, or similar tools
- Proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics, Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services SSAS, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Tableau, or comparable tools
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not mandatory, having experience in:
- Agile Delivery Train (Artistry) and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Change management and process improvement
- Enterprise-level strategy development and presentation
- Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
